A Flexible Delivery System
Optimize IT developed an end-to-end package delivery solution for a client in the logistics industry. This custom application runs on the force.com platform using complex objects and a SalesForce.com architecture. Features include taking orders, calculating routes, checking driver availability, assigning packages to the routes/drivers and tracking the final deliveries. The comprehensive solution facilitates efficient delivery of packages and allows customers to leverage technological capabilities that were traditional available to large companies.
